I'm happy for some non-fiction books on sailing trip on a sailboat. Please respect the non-fiction means you are not real and invented. Sailing, sailing, cruises, excursions.

Oh my ... I want to be in my house right now, because I was in my library and enter a list. Unfortunately I'm on the road .... and can rarely remember the names of the books and authors ... I read a lot.

The I and I read, by the grace of the sea of Patricia (Pat) Henry. It is your odyssey sailing solo around the world when he was in his 50th This is a good book.

There are many others. If you live near a marine store like West Marine to enter and browse through the selection of books and you will find many others.

There are a few books with the words: "Women on Board" in the title. They have a lot of fun reading and a lot of ideas on the cruise ship.

Another book titled something like "floating home." He is an older book, but still good with many good ideas.

Here you will find books Nigel Calder for the repair and maintenance ideas.

Chapman Piloting and boat ride is a must for any cruiser. The latest edition is of course alwayspreferable, but usually very expensive. You can often find a problem, more for less.

Browse the bookstores in the areas where marinas and diving cruises alive and probably some good books. If you are in an area where there is a port, there is often a table of "free" anywhere, and you can sometimes good books out there.

I hope that one day on a shelf somewhere a very good book for me the adventure of real life with my husband and I live aboard and cruising.

Enjoy your travels, whether real or vicarious agents. Here are some good links.

I just read "A journey of a Madman" by Peter Nichols.

A very entertaining book about the nine sailors who left in 1968 to the first people to circumnavigate solo nonstop around the world.

It is not exactly what you ask, but ... A good book!

Pardeys writing several books on sailing and cruising. Chilean Web, when you wrote of his adventures in a 18-foot Drascombe Lugger. Steve Callahan wrote a book to explain, when their boat was sunk by whales and beaten, and spent about 70 days (I think) in a life raft.
Issued by William Buckley describes the Atlantic crossing with his friends and his son.
God, I have read many books as a younger man, I forgot the name wrong and Authers so many years. Good luck!

You can refer to geographical areas of interest. Nigel Calder, known books on the ship maintenance, wrote a very beautiful study of the Channel (the title), which describes the environment and the history of the cruise, while the French and English coasts.
